HELAU !!!

Helau !!!

Its Carnival time here in the state of Northrhein-Westphalia. Its called the RosenMontag. The biggest carnivals take place in Dusseldorf and Cologne. They actually fight for the first place in the competition, for the best Carnival of the Year, between the two only!!

Candies, teddies, cakes and little goodies are thrown from the carnival trucks, which go around the city displaying some themes and greeting HELAU.

One can see zillions of kids and the adults standing with bags and open umbrellas to collect whatever is thrown in the air, enjoying and singing too, eagerly waiting the arrival of summer.
