Painting Mexican Style

Our friends Ralf and Carol just headed north after more than a month in Zihua. Ralf is a painter back home in Canada (among many other things) and was inspired by the Mexican environment in which he found himself. I captured him here, in typical Mexican-dress mode, putting the finishing touches on the larger of two canvases that he completed on this trip. It must be something about painting in just shorts that motivates a person to work extra hard - even while on vacation.
