Chocolate crumb pudding with dark chocolate centre

...served with a white chocolate sauce.

This is the fifth in the fortnightly series and, possibly, the best one yet.

The pudding is: breadcrumbs, self-raising flour, caster sugar, butter, melted dark chocolate, egg yolk, whipped egg white and vanilla essence make up the crumb pudding which has dark chocolate pieces in the centre which turn into a beautiful, runny soft centre when the pudding is steamed.

The sauce comprises melted white chocolate and double cream.

All in all, a very tasty pudding and not too heavy, though you couldn't really eat any more than the portion in the photo.

And let's not talk calories...!
