ahoy sailor!

Today was a good day and the first time for a while where I've had difficulty choosing which photo to blip!

I started out my Saturday with collecting for Marie Curie cancer care outside a supermarket - the charity asked my WI to volunteer and I did a 2 hour shift over lunchtime, had a good giggle and collected so much - while dressed in a bright yellow tabard and stupid yellow hat!!

and this photo is me and Louise all dressed up in our finest for a sailing club black tie dinner at a golf club, oh so posh! Louise asked me as someone had dropped out last minute due to illness and am so glad I went, I even raised a toast after the main course!!!! I asked for everyone to raise a glass to those who have not sailed before (-ie. -me!) and got a rousing round of applause!!! brilliant!
