Coghorn

A cool sculpture of a cog and a horn, known as the coghorn (what else?).

This is in Loanhead, an (ex) mining town south of Edinburgh where a friend and I were cycling today. It was pretty cold but we needed to stop and put on our gilets before we reached the huuuuge descent in to Edinburgh. Near the coghorn is a monument to miners who lost their lives in the coalmines-15 between 1956 and 1986. As the script said, the true price of coal.
