Another stormy day

The sea was churning up good style this morning, and the wind was incredibly strong all night. There have been hail showers today, but not the promised snow. The forecasters just never get it right for this area.

This was taken near the school, and from the car - I didn't dare venture out of it. There is something perverse in the fact that I adore seeing the power of the waves. Given the chance, I would probably risk it and walk too near to a stormy sea. If it wasn't for Blip, I would have been out in it; taking a photo in the driving wind and sleet is not a good idea!

It's good to be home by the fire.
