'Not the Robin'

This morning we had two little robins in the garden and thought it would be good to try and get a photo of them together. Attached the zoom lens to the camera, adjusted settings and............ they had gone. Next thing the dog went crazy and when I looked out of the window a hang glider was flying over the house. Grabbed the camera, hung out the window and this is what I got. Later I was tidying in the garden and one of the robins returned. As I had the camera with me, in case there were any more hang gliders, I got a really good shot of the robin. Probably the best one I have taken of a robin.

It was a difficult decision. Go with the really clear sharp image of the robin or this one of the hang glider. My daughter persuaded me to go with this. (She said I can get the robin again another day) We both liked that the sky and trees are so grey and the glider is so bright it almost looks like it was pasted into the picture. Also looks like he is about to fall out of the picture.
