Little Lurch

We've finished the kitchen!- Well sort of, there are just a few patches here and there that we need to go over again but it's pretty much done. It's bright and cheery I can't help but smile. I love it when I plan comes together.

So, instead of burnt orange or the trendy 'terracotta' we now have a clean lemon fresh kitchen. I didn't realise colours can change the mood, but it has certainly worked here. I now have the nice task of finding new lampshades, curtains and tile transfers (the orange ones are going) We were even talking about new carpets for the hall and lounge.

It really must be spring now?! :)

Little Lurch is the plant's name- he wasn't even five inches tall when I brought him, he was cheep as the shop thought he was going to die...now he is almost five foot tall. All together now: aaahh :)
