The Final Frontier

M's final assessment task for her current unit of enquiry, which is "Space", is to make a model which explains the answer to a question about space she is interested in.

Say what!?!?!
Yeah, that's what we thought.

Anyway, she settled on the question "what happened when man first went to the moon?" and this is what we spent our family Sunday doing.

Now for a day of parental paranoia wondering a) if we have got the completely wrong end of the stick with the exercise, and b) whether our model will be totally crap compared to everyone elses's efforts....

Oh well, the thwarted Blue Peter presenter in me rides again...
