My First Prime Lens

I bought my first prime lens today, a AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G. Then Honey and I went to the Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge. We walked for a couple hours along the trails. We saw geese, ducks, a turtle, a blue heron, and a little screech owl asleep up on his branch.

After such a long dry spell and having no desire to take a picture of anything this winter, It felt good to get out in the spring air taking pictures as we went.
