World Book Night

... seems an ideal time to share the fruits of my labours. Author copies of this, my thirteenth title in Scholastic UK's 'Read and Respond' series for junior classrooms / teachers, arrived in today's post - hot off the press! It was an absolute joy to write literacy lesson plans to go with Jeremy Strong's lovely book, The 100-Mile-An-Hour Dog. It's always good to see the finished book in print, too.

Beside it are some crochet flowers that I made. I'm not good at sitting doing nothing! Shall probably make a few more flowers this evening ... then have a nice read in bed. Well, especially as it's World Book Night!
