A Bridge with a View
After a morning shopping and getting new tires fitted to the car and lunch with a delicious brownie in Reid's Café we took Beagha for a walk on the Moncreiffe or Friarton island.
She had a ball running along the banks of the Tay alongside the golf course and the allotments. Oh, and being a spaniel didn't restrict herself to just the banks as she waded out in to the river proper. Although as we were around slack water of a fairly high tide this wasn't too difficult.
Just got back from the pictures. Finally got to see the King's Speech. Happy to report that I can see just why it has received so many accolades.
However, I didn't know it was supposed to be a comedy.
A group of family-pack-crisp-crunching, Pringle-popping morons greeted every slightly amusing aside with great guffaws and belly-laughs.
Am I getting old?
