Geese and ducks aplenty stop by Stong Pond to rest, feed, and breed. The pond got a makeover last year and the birds love it. The pond and a college are named after the Stong family who had a farm on which York University is, in part, built. In the background is Tennis Canada's (and YorkU's) Rexall Centre - home to world-class tennis matches each summer. We host the Rogers Cup for men and alternate each year with the women's even, switching with Montreal annually.
