a painting party

I held a painting party today. Eleven wonderful adult friends turned up armed with brushes, rollers and drop sheets. We had 12 younger people, who all exhibited varying degrees of enthusiasm for house painting vs electronic games.
It was fun, and I guess it would have taken us quite a few days to achieve the same result. How wonderful to have such practical friends!
