Amaryllis

I got given this as a Christmas present, however forgot to plant it up until a few weeks ago when I realised the bulb was making a bid for freedom and trying to desperately grow through the cardboard packaging!

So I planted it up not sure whether I'd left it too late.

And I didn't!

It's grown astonishingly fast and a full blown flower literally appeared overnight
on Friday.

Now off to see some mischief makers - wish us luck!
