city slickers

The illness that has been keeping me under the weather for the past month or so has finally started to retreat. Today I put a pair of jeans on for the first time in about a week. I spent the morning with my mom, rewatching part of that Jake Gyllenhaal/Anne Hathaway movie Love and Other Drugs. Brian and I spent most of the afternoon together, drinking tea and driving around the city. Tonight we ended up in Birmingham and I made sure to bring my camera.

It was fun taking pictures downtown; I only wish I could've spent more time and been more creative but it was rainy and cold. But I welcome the rain in place of snow. I think it's time for spring.
