Llangennith
Based in the location of the priory founded by St. Cenydd with the church of the same name (seen in this shot) boasting the patron saint.
This place is a beautiful off season hideaway, but due to its fab surf is heaving in the summer.
"Oh as I walked out one mid-summer's morning,
For to view the fields and the flowers so gay,
Twas there on the banks of the sweet primroses,
That I beheld a most pleaseant maid...
Phil Tanner - The Gower Nightingale at the Kings Head Llangennith (1862-1950)
