World Book Day

Well, happy World Book Day. A bit of a repetative day for me, giving the same speech about favourite books 6 times to sprogs of various ages...sweet though. Rather upsetting only one child out of about 200 had heard of the moomins...alas.

I don't know about anyone else but I don't think I could answer the one favourite book question, though the above comes close. Of Love and Other Demons by Gabriel Garcia Marquez is just stunning, every part of it. So much so that year 7s were begging me to read extracts aloud to them...I was a little careful on which parts I chose. Happy reading...
