Greenknowe windfarm

Went to see this windfarm just up the road from us - above Glendevon. It was the first time that I'd been up close to a wind turbine.

There's a majestic beauty about them. I did a bit of work for some windfarm developers a few years ago to raise awareness in surrounding local communities throughout the planning phase.

Some people became apoplectic about the prospect of having a windfarm close to them and set up full on hate campaigns. What's that all about?

Robin and Jamie are playing some new board game. I was supposed to be heading into Edinburgh for a Ceilidh leaving do, but not in the mood for drinking or the Gay Gordons - too tired.

Off to do something low key or maybe just go to bed.
