Vegetables

Out of my depth with this weeks challenge, there have been some great entries! Completely out of my comfort zone and I've failed drastically. I've only posted this crappy effort as a marker for when I do improve.

I was going to do a creative, arty, close up shot of some veg but my biggest problem is confidence behind the camera, I hate taking photos around strangers but in my head this was going to be an 'easy' one! So I was determined to go and do some 'street photography' How wrong could I be!

I had to go into Birmingham city centre today and I knew that the market would be buzzing and full of colours. Loads of Jack the lads selling their wares! How hard would it be to get a shot of a vegetable seller? I hated it! The market was a fantastic opportunity as planned but it took so much courage to pull out the camera and take a few shots that they were all rubbish! The reason this one's uploaded out of all the dross is that it shows when the guy made eye contact with me in a what the f@#£ are you taking pictures of kind of way! This was the end of my shoot!

On a better note, I finally got myself my 50mm lens so looking forward to playing with that and Mrs L got herself an iphone 4!

Oh yeah and it's the weekend tomorrow!
