Ten years of Book Circle

Tonight we celebrated ten years of book group - quite an achievement! We've probably read about 100 books together. We've had a few sad times, some serious illnesses, some weddings and even the birth of a grandchild during a meeting. We've certainly had fun tackling some fantastic and some dire books together.

Born out of a group of mums at a primary school, very few of us now have any connection to the school but we've kept in touch and still meet up every month to talk about the latest book and catch up with what's happening to us all.

We had our meal in an old library, now converted to a restaurant. A lovely evening with a lovely group of women. Thank you book circle for opening my eyes to:
