Full of irrational rage
Actually, it's not irrational.
It's completely understandable.
I found this picture when I was creating chaos by throwing paperwork everywhere whilst vainly searching for my V5. James drew it last year. Not sure what it is, but the creature in the middle of the page looks like he is saying "RARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" in a big boomy bellowy growl, and that my friends is ME!
The lovely moments that today has brought -
4 of us engaged in a ridiculously funny and at times undignified and unnecessarily detailed conversation about the joys of pregnancy and childbirth (I would like to add that a male colleague was the key instigator of the conversation!)
3 fab lessons where all of the students were wonderful, competitive and engaged,
2 meetings that went well and were very constructive
1 lovely bar of chocolate bought as a little treat for me
60 minutes completing important admin task done with some teamwork between me and the lovely Wallybobs.
20 minute break duty with my prefects who are witty, entertaining and do a damn fine job.
WIPED OUT by
* 1 incident of absolute barefaced lying and shameless effrontery which left me utterly disappointed, bewildered and having to exercise a great deal of self control.
* Downloading a much anticipated report. 197 pages. I'm not sure any of us have figured out if it says anything. I certainly don't like the tone of a lot of it. Disappointment, and then disappointment at myself for expectating something better!
*Having to turn the house upside down to find my vehicle registration form as my old car goes tomorrow and the new one arrives. 2 hours, much chaos, close to tears, having been exceptionally snappy with Corin and James, not having eaten all day except for the lovely chocolate treat, I eventually stopped looking. Then I started again. Found it in the most ridiculously obscure place I could have imagined.
* Attempting to tidy up and put things away in the proper places, I stood on a chair to reach a high shelf and the chair tipped, which has caused a wee flare up of my knee and by lower back. This is on top of pain in my foot which I think is self inflicted from running on the treadmill whilst wearing utterly crap trainers.
Ah well, tomorrow is another day!
