Good enough to eat

Going visiting in Fife tomorrow so got busy baking a gingerbread this afternoon to take with me. The wonderful smells from the kitchen as it sat cooling made it difficult to resist the temptation to cut into it.

It's a long time since I've baked anything other than fairy cakes so I was delighted with the result. Let's hope it tastes as good as it looks.
