Early morning walk in Swaledale

I went out for an hour first thing this morning. This photo of me is taken looking up the valley in the opposite direction from yesterdays blip.

I was looking forward to chasing grouse. However I had to stay on my extendable lead for the whole of the walk. There were lots of pregnant sheep about and apparently I don't have enough self control not to go chasing. We saw the farmer twice on our walk. I trotted along by Ann's side both times because she said he would shoot me if he saw me annoying his sheep - and I don't want to be shot.

After my walk we whizzed up to Edinburgh in our new car. Ann owns a flat here which has been rented out to the 'tenant from hell' so she immediately set to and started cleaning. In fact she was so engrossed in her cleaning that it was 4.30pm before she realised I hadn't had my afternoon walk.

I wanted to go up Blackford Hill which is one of my favourite walks here and would have made a lovely blip. Unfortunately it was getting dark so I had to have my second walk of the day on my lead as well. However Ann has promised me I will have at least one walk tomorrow where I can run about off lead.
