Chaffinch & Blackbird
Chaffinch and Blackbird aren't talking.
They've fallen out over some seeds.
Blackbird, he wants the lot of them.
But Chaffinch has his needs.
Blackbird and Chaffinch aren't speaking.
They're standing back to back.
The silly thing is, there's enough for both,
As I tipped out half a sack.
But if you see Chaffinch and Blackbird,
And they're standing beak to beak,
You'll know that, at last, they've shaken wings,
Made up, and decided to speak.
