Juggling squirrel
Sunday
We were singing first and second services at church this morning, so were home a little earlier than usual. After Roger had talked with his parents, and we'd had an early lunch, we went walking at Sharon Woods, where the water was more back to normal, compared to Friday. It was a lovely mild afternoon, and I went walking without a jacket - just a sweatshirt. This squirrel was rolling his nut over and over between his paws a bit like a juggler! Unfortunately, I didn't have a fast enough shutter speed, so his paws and the nut aren't quite in focus.! After our walk, we went downtown for another concert, this one at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral, featuring their own choir singing Poulenc's Gloria, and a concerto for organ and timpani with string orchestra by Poulenc, which I wasn't at all familiar with, but I really enjoyed. Then a song cycle by Vaughan Williams for baritone and chorus.
