Yesterday
I went under the knife.
Well when I say knife it was more like a cork borer.
Basically I had this scar on my leg and it made me really self conscious. It was only like a centimetre in diameter but it sat out and it sat out quite far and was really like reddy/purple. I said to the doctor about it can be really pinky one day and the next day it can be red or purple. So she decided that she's whack it off.
Went yesterday morning and got the local injected (couldn't watch) and then she like, stabbed it with like a cork borer type thing. And look out quite a lot depth wise. Then stitched it up and gave me a prescription for some cream.
Got the doctor to print out my immunisation record for QUB. Noticed that my school leavers DPT was missing and my Meningococcal C were missing cause they were done in school through the children's health system, and hadn't been put on doctors records. Went to the health centre across the road as that's where I'd been told to go if the doc couldn't do it. Went and they wouldn't give me it under the data protection act.
Went to the school nurse when I went to school to get two painkillers and said to her so SHE phoned children's health and got the dates and done me out a wee letter and all. So Children's Health Service gave HER my records but couldn't give ME MY records. Tsk.
Being the brave soldier that I am I went to Russell Howard last night in the Odyssey. Went for dinner first then went in. Rewarded myself for being brave by buying myself a t shirt badges and a keyring. I have never laughed so much in all my days.
He made my pain go away!
These are the very first stitches I've ever had so I'm extremely curious and impressed!
