Dandelion, the Morning After
Today's girl is a little more bedraggled than yesterday's brave dancer, lost her feathers to the overnight wind and rain, but still standing tall. When I first saw this frame, I treasured the subtle pastels in the background, but I began to play with the concept of black and white, and tried some tips I'd just read about and there you go: I like her better in black and white, more drama and texture to the story, and the range of tones moves me just as much as the colors did.
Anyone want to talk about black and white vs color?
