48 At the car wash

A swan was going to be my banker of the day - I knew where to find some near a South Yorkshire retail park, but as I got off the bus, my eye was caught by something flitting across a slip road and into some shrubs planted up next to a Morrison's car wash. So here it is.
We did have a wren in the garden but since the extreme cold around Christmas, I haven't seen it so I fear the worst.
Irony of ironies, Steel City Wildlife captured and blipped a swan today in the park I was in earlier this week, not a mile from my house! Still, I had an interesting day out exploring some of the corners of South Yorkshire on a day tripper ticket. More birds from today here
