Dwarf daffodils
I stumbled upon these cheery little daffodils beside the garden shed at the weekend and decided to keep them for a grey day. I had taken the bulbs out of the container they had been in and shoved them in the ground and forgotten all about them. They didn't mind the neglect and seem to have prospered in their sheltered winter spot. Dwarf daffs are my fabourite ones as they seem to be correctly in proportion to their leaf size. The big ones can look top heavy and are no good in containers.
Our blue skies disappeared today to be replaced with grey dampness - not for long I hope!
