A - Alhambra

While chatting with my niece, Mimi, I mentioned that I was running out of ideas to photograph and so she suggested that I do an alphabet blip. I thought it was a good idea and this is my A - Alhambra cigar box, full of old coins, keys and what-nots.

A cigar brand made by the La Flor de Isabela Tobacco Company, established in 1881.Tobacco seeds from Havana were first brought into the Philippines by the Spanish galleon San Clemente on the Manila-Acapulco trade route. These were cultivated and grown by Spanish friars in Isabela province, an area with fertile land and named after the Queen of Spain.

Warning: Smoking is hazardous to one's health, but owning a cigar box isn't.
