Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb
I left this plant to fend for itself over the winter as we failed to get a crop from it last summer. Now it's sprouted a couple of stalks and I'm wondering what to do for the best.
It didn't like us trying to " force " it last year, quite rightly so really, I'm not fond of being forced either.
Now I'm deliberating whether to bring it in and put it in the cupboard under the stairs ... afraid that may be too dark and airless ... perhaps I should invest in a cheap bucket type thing and cut a hole in the top ( tried with a black bag last year, which wasn't successful ).
Any suggestions?
Late start and finish work wise today. Need to get ready to go now ... big sigh must I?!
