Carnival Colours in our Street!

Took this shot of carnival hair flowers between meeting the 'marble man' who measured us up for bathroom and kitchen and heading off again to shops. Bought lots of furniture today, including a rather smart ruby red high table, which seems appropriately Rio somehow!  Real progress today, good feeling! And we might even have bathroom walls by tomorrow!

'Carnival' is spelt 'carnaval' in Brazilian Portuguese - so if I spell it both ways over the next few days, it's not 'cos I can't spell!
