World Book Day

So Thursday is world book day and the school have invited the children to bring a book in and dress as a character from the book.

You can only imagine my profound joy when my wee boy announced he wanted to go as Harry Potter.

Being such a wonderful mother I went to the pound shop and purchased a pair of glasses (which we popped the glass out of!) and a t-shirt.

I have then, with my own fair hands, embroidered this on to the top. It was drawn by my son I am just following orders!

I don't think I need to mention how lacking my skills are with a needle and thread, it speaks for itself!
