This is an old rope my husband's uncle used to rope calves and other livestock (we presume anyway). Who knows how old it is....we found it hanging on a wall in one of the outbuildings when we moved in a few years ago.

And, it is still raining....

And completely unrelated to this image (and more for me), here (typed exactly as is on the paper), is a little story Ms B did at school yesterday (assuming she copied it out of one of her Bob books). It is the first time she has ever written anything that "makes sense" though and isn't just a bunch of jumbled letters....
