sting in the tail
Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri
Gwlad, Gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad!
and the sting in the tail? that I don't live there anymore. But too much of me remains there to make life work anywhere else. That's called Hiraeth and it'll be the death of me one day.
There's not much else to say - apart from, thank you and you and you and you and you and all the others of you who made my yesterday a lovely day. You are the beautiful people who understand when someone holds something up that they just need a reflection..so that one sees the true nature of the monster...just an innocent bit of skin that never did anyone any harm. Thank you for taking a 16 year old by the hand and moving her on 20 years to the place she should be at. It was only a tiny bit of me who was lurking back there in time but it's only when all of ourself has caught up with ourself that we can get on with life. I've nearly found all the pieces now :-)
