Upsall Town
It was such a lovely sunny morning we abandoned everything to go on a longer than usual local walk. One of our neighboring villages is Upsall. It is extremely tiny consisting of about half a dozen houses and a farm close to the T junction of two minor roads. I love this building which now appears to function as a joiner's workshop. All the buildings were built around the same time and would belong to the estate of the family living in 'the castle' Why it was referred to as town I have no idea, it is as far removed from my idea of a town as you can get! Mike sat on a seat on the small village green in front of a building which proudly proclaims itself to be 'The Town Hall 1928'. Perhaps another blip sometime. We sat for almost an hour waiting for the sun to move round so this doorway was better illuminated. As a passing farmer remarked, 'By, it's a grand morning!'
