Today's the day ........................ to broadcast

As Colin Firth said recently in his 'Oscar' speech - my career may have peaked today. Can there be any higher to go than a live interview on BBC Radio Cumbria with our man from the north - Martin Lewis?

It all happened at 8.45 am this morning. I was interviewed along with one of our local councillors about our participation in the newly launched 'Community Toilet Scheme'. This is where the Council no longer provide any toilet facilities - but local businesses and attractions can offer to let anyone who finds themselves caught short in Kendal, the use of theirs. The idea is that this will bring extra 'footfall' into the attractions.

I would like to think that I did a stunning interview - it could be that a career change to media work is beckoning..............
