Yuck
Today I had to go and do some odd jobs at the local community hall.
One of the jobs was to move the soap dispensers in the toilets. The place is used a lot by young kids and the dispensers were placed about 5 feet off the gound at the back of the sinks so there is no way for wee ones to reach.
They can reach now.
Camera club tonight had a bit of an arguement........I suggested that it may be an idea for people to read their instruction manuals and get to know the main functions of their equipment before a forthcoming studio session which will be run by a pro who will be bringing a couple of models. This would mean that he wasn't having to give personal tuition and wasting his, the models and the other members time.
I suggested this because it was painfully apparent at last weeks 'in house' studio session that a lot of members had no idea how to even switch from 'auto' to 'manual' - let alone how (or if) there camera would work with studio flash.
Well.........................you would think I had been trying to sell their sould to the devil.
The camera club was there to teach them how to use their cameras.
Why should they have to read the manual?
Why would they want to bing their camera to the club if there wasn't anything special to shoot that night?
Why should they go and take pictues every day to ty and teach themselves?
Sometimes I dispair.
Glad that He wasn't one of the dissenters (he is a big guy).
I will let you make up you own mind about this one
