Common Pochard
These beautiful birds arrive in hundreds at the onset of winters in Sukhna Lake and make our foggy, dreary winters colorful and bright. As spring gives way to summer, they fly back to the northern Asia. Of all the migrants, Pochards are the most gregarious, and flock to the shores where people feed them.
