Speedy stoker

Oh dear, it says a lot that this was the only photo in today's bag. I could have sworn ther'd been more shutter clicking, but this was all that made it into the camera. This let's-get-cosy moment happened mid afternoon after catching the rest of Nikita, which we'd begun last night in Carl's Kino. What an amazing film! As so often happens when I see something like this, I couldn't help bemoaning the lack of exposure we have to films other than the commercial mainstream. This was cinema at its intensely wonderful best: stunning plot, magnificent direction, splendid acting ... a superb experience.

A couple of episodes of Ballkissangel (one not so good, really) finished off the day, and I was back home by six.
