Meadow Fancy
I thought I saw an angel,
Or perhaps a butterfly.
That fluttered in her ecstasy,
Right across the sky.
And lit among the daisies,
Mid lavender and pink.
And poised in sweetest beauty,
Like a lovely queen...I think.
In pearly whiffs of gossamer,
She made a graceful spread.
And a crown of amber tresses,
Formed a halo on her head.
It could of been a butterfly,
That held me in a stare.
Or else a bit of heaven sent,
So like an angel fair.
From meditation moments,
She rose up on her own.
And settled out there far away,
Me thinks...it was a throne.
