Fruitless Tasks a plenty

Crappy day at work.
Had one of those 'fill a quota meeting about a meeting'. We had to devise a proforma to evaluate the work that we will do to see if the work we will do will be of any benefit and wether we should do it again. Arrrgh!
After that there was an option of designing a new school logo.
"I'LL DO IT, ME ME ME ME'
So I did and guess what, when I finished they informed me that they will take my ideas to the company that is being paid thousands to come up with a re-branding concept. forgot to mention that bit.
I would have been so much happier if I had been told to sit down, shut up and wait until home time.
