Platonic Friends

A new month, a new module on my maths course. This time it's group theory, which apparently has lots of symmetry in it so the OU have sent me some helpful models to make of the platonic solids - tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron.

What they mostly remind me of, though, are the dice my friends used to use in Dungeons & Dragons. "You rolled a 2D8 so your spell has killed the witch and you gain the tiara of power".

Or some such nonsense.
