The views from this building are always uplifting, even on a drab day. Whenever I have a class here I'm reminded of a corny old joke, which was, I'm sure, quite venerable even when I was a student:

Q: "Why does the Dean/Vice Chancellor/Principal/JCR President/Student Rep/Student Union President (delete as appropriate, or insert your own suggestion) never look out of the window before lunch?"

A: "So that they'll have plenty to do in the afternoon."
