I'm not big on words; they tend to become embellished, and eventually lose their meaning over time. Photographs on the other hand, impart natural responses; their meanings may change, but are never lost.

I shoot primarily in black & white using a 35mm film camera, and Fuji film, but I also shoot in digital format, as well.

I still prefer traditional film over digital. There's just something about film that is classic, and timeless. I also shy away from any, and all photo manipulation techniques, including software.

As much as I would like to, I know I won't be able shoot, and upload a photo a day. Every shooter has a bad day occasionally; we've all had our share. A well-known photographer (can't remember his/her name at the moment) once said: "If you only get one shot from a roll of film, you've had a good day."

Hopefully, in the next 8 to 12 months, I will be able to purchase my dream camera; a Hasselblad 4x5 medium format with a f/2.8 50mm lens.

PEACE
