Just Me:
I have been a keen photographer for many years but have never really thought of myself as being any good, just enthusiastic. 

As a retirement present to myself I have bought a Sony ILCE-5100 mirror less camera.  The reason I chose this camera is because I have lost a lot of my sight, especially in my right eye, due to glaucoma and I am hoping that it's design will be better suited to me. 

I like to think that my photography skills have improved since joining blipfoto. I do know that I see things a lot differently now and notice far more photo opportunities.

I enjoy taking photos of canals, the bridges and locks and the communities that live and work on the canals. I also love the natural world, street photography, churches, cemeteries and anything a bit quirky.

I live in Watford in the UK (just north of London).
