This is my SOC*4450 final assignment. I have written eight journal entries which I attempted to write from what I think would be the perspective of a refugee from Syria travelling to Canada. Start reading from the bottom up (first post being September 15th, last being November 3rd). I have attempted to apply various concepts of semiotics and symbolic interactionism to the issue of the refugee crisis.
