Glennis Gibson is a professional photographer/ graphic designer/ website designer based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

After a long career in engineering, which ended due to severe ill health, Glennis did what many people do when confronted with the fragility of life - she decided to pursue her dreams.

With this in mind, she enrolled at The Leith School of Art, to study the concept of art.

Shortly afterwards, she realized that her talents would be best fulfilled by pursuing her life-long interest in fine art photography.

For the past 35 years, Scotland has been her homeland and she currently resides in Aberdeenshire.

Her portfolio comprises of the natural world, images collected from her world travels and ,more recently, commercial projects for graphic and website designs.

In her work, she perceives the world around her as a canvas that can be painted with texture and light and Glennis' signature style of high colour is achieved by capturing her choice of subject at a particular time of the day which she calls 'Golden Time'.

Her inspiration comes from the times of dawn and dusk, when the light is cleanest, but also ever changing as the day waxes and wanes.
